In September Amy Gorman was a guest on the NPR radio show, "To the Best of Our Knowledge," Sunday Sept. 30. Check your local NPR station for exact timing. It airs locally in the SF Bay Area on KQED 88.5 FM at 7pm. It will be streamed on the internet (TTBOOK.org), and on all stations that carry the program. Also, it airs at 9am on KALW 9/30/07.

The film, "Still Kicking," by Greg Young, www.goldenbearcasting.com, which follows 6 SF Bay Area women all over 90, will be shown during the following programs.

Amy Gorman, author of Aging Artully, from which the women were selected, will be present to speak about the project. The book won the bronze medal in the 2007 National Independent Publishers Book Awards, category of Women's Issues.

Frances Catlett (Chapter 2) is the featured artist at the Prescott-Joseph Center, 920 Peralta, Oakland 94607, March 1-May 3. Many of her paintings are being exhibited.
